Great Day Filled with Hugs & Kisses

-Just a "snippet" before the bride shows up, validating who's on the, "Most Highly Favored" status today-
Fran is suspended mid-air in Yanna's room today and lets all in the immediate dorm area know she just recieved papa's clearence to get off my back from horsen' around and land, head first. The girls are frightened and rush to her aid- it was quite a bang (cheap floors} When they realize all parts are still working and a friend of theirs is mad I did that they both rush to me to protect my, "dignity". They won't let me go, even when I insist (sort of).
Fran gets the bruisin'- I get the hugs- I think I'm gonna like papa status...
Rick

If you can't understand the above post, I will interpet, We have been in the Ukraine for one week and can't talk to anyone with out a translation, Rick is getting used to it. Here is the translation:
Rick threw me off his back and I landed on my head. The girls were so scared that I got hurt, but I got up laughing and they ran to Rick and hugged him, one on each side. What is wrong with this picture?
The girls really love Rick. He makes them laugh (that doesn't surprize anyone does it) and he gives them alot of hugs and kisses. He will make a good papa. We had alot of fun in Yana room today. There was Marina, Yana, and Vika. We had to communicate without an interpreter. Vika is doing well with English and Marina understands a lot of English. We made necklaces with beads today. Many laughs. Marina is a clown. If Marina is around there is no silence. A language difference doesn't matter. She just keeps on talking and laughing. Yana and Marina are so different, they are day and night. By the way, Marina is was born in 1993 not 1994 like Galina had told us. She is only a few months younger then Yana. They both look like they are 12. They are so tiny.
About Marina, Galina was not an advocate for Marina infront of the inspectors. The doors were closed there. The inspectors didn't really care and the doors keep closing. Miracles happen when all human ability is exhausted. Please keep praying. The little girls is sooooooo precious.
Charlsey and Neil please send us an e-mail, we need to write to you.

On a happier note, tonight while walking on a dark street going to dinner the police walked up to us and made us pull out our passports. After we showed them we asked Victor what was that about, he responded, "if you didn't have your passports they would have made you pay money or take you to the center". YEAKS!!!!

We love you all keep praying for us,
Fran

You don't know us, but found your blog the other day. We adopted our son from Ukraine and brought him home September 2007. Our son's file was not lost, but his registration was incorrect and discovered only after we had our court date and were legally his parents. We will be praying for you. We were in Ukraine an extra three weeks waiting for the Immigration Department to come to an agreement with the SDA. God can do anything!

Rick & Fran;
Rick, try to be easy on Fran, she wasn't meant to fly... We are praying in earnest. We want to see all four of you together in person as in your hearts. The Lord will make it happen as only He can.

Dear Fran and Rick,
We read your blog and talk about your journey during dinner. Ella isn't surprised to hear Marina does cartwheels down the hall. She says Marina is "crazy... in a good, fun way." She says Yana is gentle and kind. They are good, sweet girls!

As you remember, we had a rough-go with the SDA. The leadership, at the time, wasn't able/interested in deviating from regs. Julia was sympathetic and helpful but unable to make decisions. We pray the officials keep the children's interests at heart and they expedite all adoptions.

Good Bless, and know you're in our family prayers every day.
