A Family Picture

Finally, the pictures have come. I am sorry, the way I would normally download at home wasn't working and I was trying to read Russian instructions to get it. I now know how to get pictures to you. Here is our first family picture. It is a happy and said one. The inspectors just came to the orphanage and Yana has been told offically that she is being pursued for adoption. We have just been told that Yana has never had a home that she was taken from birth to orphanage. How blessed we are that God has directed her to us. The sad part is Marina was just told she is not registered for the 4th time and the system has failed her again. It does get better. I will send more pictures tonight. We have a day planned ahead of us.

Pray for a miracle,

Fran

Fran and Rick,
That picture is beautiful and moving...we all feel Marina's pain but continue our prayers that a miracle will happen and an exception can be made for her. Yana is such a sweet girl, and we just can't wait until we get to see her again! We'll be sure to send her birthday greetings on the 22nd! (That's the day - right??)

What a sweet picture! I'm so happy for you all, and Yana - a family at last! What a heartbreak about Marina. She's watched her friends, one by one, get adopted always wondering when it would be her turn. Please give her a hug from us and tell her the girls are praying for her.

Fran and Rick,
No matter how much you try to explain the pain of seeing those eyes, it just isn't as clear to others as seeing them for yourselves. We pray, we wait, we hope. We trust in a God who loves these girls even more than we do to find a way for them to have a family.

Dear Rick and Fran,
Thank you for sharing the photo. We are moved by Marina's face to pray even more fervently. Marina and Yana are so beautiful and precious to the Lord. It's a blessing to be able to hold you all up in prayer to Him.

Way to go Fran! You did it, the picture looks great. Even though a picture says a thousand words it can't possible explain all the feelings of both girls and you guys. Your smile is awesome too. We're called to do only what God leads us to where he leads He will be there to see things through. Miracles happen every day and Marina is well covered in prayer!

What a wonderful family picture but, we can see the sadness in Marina's face. Our God is in the Miracle Business and he can move mountains. You are in our prayers daily. Our Love, Don & MJ

What a beautiful family picture! It brings me joy to see that you are opening your hearts and your home to teenage girls. I am saddened by Marina's tears in her eyes in the photo. Take comfort in knowing God knows the love you have for Yana and Marina and the heartache that you are all feeling right now. God is a God of miracles - if God is for us, who can be against us. Keep the faith!

Praying for you!

Fran and Rick,

WOO HOO! Exciting! We're thrilled for you guys and trust that God can work out the details for Marina. I'm sure she and you are heartbroken over the whole ordeal, but it's not the last minute yet, is it? That means God still has time! We will pray!
